1970 Chevy Chevelle SS 454 drag race 1965 Pontiac GTO
First car is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport, and the other a 1965 Pontiac GTO. The 1970 Chevelle has a 454 V8. The ’65 GTO has a 389 V8. The 454 in the 1970 Chevelle SS is a LS6 and therefore rated 450 horsepower. The 389 in the Pontiac was rated 360 horsepower since it has a tri-power setup.
